Budget Season

When we started planning the 2024 events, the town had passed the 4th of July warrant article but the town budget did not pass (forcing a default budget). This caused a lot of changes to happen within the Town of Gilmanton. One of the major changes, was that the overtime for the Police and Fire that typically funded the shifts needed for the parade and fireworks was no longer available. That meant that for us to have the 4th of July events, we needed to come up with $2200 out of pocket to pay those expenses. Thankfully, we were able to fund those expenses out of our balance but that definitely took a chunk out of our event planning budget.

For the 2025 Budget, we asked for $8700. That is an increase of $2200 over last year but we have opted to request the money for the Police and Fire in our warrant article. We ask for your support on our budget vote.

The Gilmanton 4th of July Association is a group of citizens of the town of Gilmanton, NH.  The goal of the group is to plan the 4th of July Parade and the Fireworks display for the town of Gilmanton.
